Though we’re both American, Ed and I met far from the US! We met at Flying Tree Yoga in Medellin, Colombia where we had both been accepted into a one-month yoga teaching internship. In addition to teaching in English, we also learned (well, practiced) how to teach yoga in Spanish. Between our classes, we made our way around Medellin to explore our surroundings. Colombia is one of the greenest countries I’ve ever visited – everywhere we went within the city or outside of it, green mountains were a constant backdrop. We spent some time in Jardín Botánico which offers a little slice of green space within the city without climbing any hills. It’s lush, quiet, and the perfect place for a photo shoot.
